- MOMark Olson5 days ago1.0I went in to cash a check. The check was a Wells Fargo check and I am an acciunt holder. I wabted to cash the check, but the teller said I could not, I had to deposit it. I said can I get cash back and they said no. I then asked if a manger could take care of it and was told that no one in the bank can make any kind of exception. Whatever the computer says rs all they can do. Keep in mind the check was drawn on a Wells Fargo account it was only for 750 dollars. Last but not least I have been a customer for over 12 years. I would have deposited it, but I really needed the cash to pay someone that needed it that day and I promised he would get it. I ended up having to go to Amscott and pay 36.75 to cash the check. I have one outstanding check at Wells and when it clears i will be closing my account for good. The ironic thing is I went to Wells Fargo in the first place because all my kids and ex bank there. However now they all did the same thing I am about to do. Go to a smaller bank that has a more personal touch and the decisions are made by people not computers. Wells Fargo is definitely getting worse by the year. They are now letting AI make all there decisions. They have absolutely no personal touch anymore. If you don't agree with there decision and you decide to talk to a manager who might agree with you, it doesn't matter whatever the computer says goes. Take this to heart and go to a smaller bank.

- NANucci AntonucciNov 18, 20251.0The representatives are very nice but Wells Fargo as a bank is the worst I had a problem with a dispute charge and sent them proof it was all cleared up they closed my accounts anyway saying it was fraud the last representative was very nasty I have my disabled going there and can hardly walk right now this is crazy they are putting me through all this if your thinking of banking with Wells Fargo think again and go to another bank that cares to listen to there customers
