Eglin Federal Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution serving Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton counties since 1954.
EFCU has nine branches and more than 40 local ATMs. Two on-base branches serve Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, Duke Field and 7th Special Forces Group. Seven community branches assist members in Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Mary Esther, Navarre, Niceville-Bluewater Bay and the surrounding areas.
Membership is open to active duty and retired service members and their families; employees of more than 700 local businesses and organizations; and anyone who lives, works or worships in north Okaloosa county.
Benefits of EFCU membership include free Premium Checking and low-rate loans for cars, boats, motorcycles and street-legal golf carts. The Credit Union offers home equity loans and conventional mortgages with financing available in seven Florida counties. EFCU’s Mastercard, with rates as low as 7.9% APR, has no annual fee, no balance transfer fee, no cash advance fee and only a 1.1% international transaction fee.

If you need any banking services good luck, they are not the place to go. They used to be amazing had an account for over 30 years but now its gone down hill

I have been putting it off because finance talk really stresses me out sometimes and I feel like I have trouble fully comprehending 😅 When I walked in, I was greeted politely with the staff at the front desk. They checked me in and within two minutes I was already being assisted by Ms. Rebecca Leurini. She was so polite, friendly, and beyond helpful! She not only got me taken care of but she taught me quite a few things today. I actually came in around 4 which I know is close to closing time and she worked miracles and made them happen for me TODAY. I felt comfortable enough to ask all of my questions and she was able to explain it in a way that I could understand. You really were so awesome and so helpful! I just want to say thank you again. Glad I stayed with USAA. Also after waiting 18 minutes for help they promptly helped someone who just walked in. Lady that called me was rude and didn't speak well of me.
