Eglin Federal Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution serving Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton counties since 1954.
EFCU has nine branches and more than 40 local ATMs. Two on-base branches serve Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, Duke Field and 7th Special Forces Group. Seven community branches assist members in Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Mary Esther, Navarre, Niceville-Bluewater Bay and the surrounding areas.
Membership is open to active duty and retired service members and their families; employees of more than 700 local businesses and organizations; and anyone who lives, works or worships in north Okaloosa county.

The Credit Union offers home equity loans and conventional mortgages with financing available in seven Florida counties. - BSBob SnowJan 6, 20261.0Eglin Federal Credit union in Navarre needs to look at their ATM machine. I deposit some cash and it spit out one of the $50 bills that I deposited it. I brought it into the bank. The Filipino teller not certain And told me it was a counter fit and confiscated it . I’ve have made probably 6 or 7 deposit as time goes after that incident and again it keep on spitting out one of the $50 bills that I deposited. I am now nervous to bring money inside the bank to deposit afraid one of the tellers is gonna say The bills are counterfeit and take it. So when A member brings cash in the bank to make a deposit and the teller on their judgment say The bills are counterfeit does that mean The member will lose their hard earn money? I don’t think these bills are counterfeit I think the tellers are inexperienced and not knowledgeable.

She was very responsive to my queries and was helpful in providing additional vital info about the services they provide. She was professional, knowledgeable, thorough and quick. I have used many other banks commercially, and none have ever lived up to the hometown feel of Eglin Federal. I have had vehicle loans, and personal loans through them- all with the best interest rate. I do believe they are the kind of business where your credit needs to be top notch to be considered for lending- but I can also appreciate that. Lee at the front desk is always so friendly, and helpful. This will be my children's first bank as well!
