  Wells Fargo is okay. But what I cannot stand is that payroll direct deposits do not hit the bank until 9 o’clock in the morning. I’ve never experienced any other backup ever had. So I am a bit dissatisfied that

  I fell into a financial hardship due to death within close family. When I was financially able to correct my dept, my account was closed. There was not a bit of consideration for my hardship and my credit was hard impacted. It was not fair what they did to me. I was even willing to provide death certificates.

  I am retracting my favorable review of this Wells Fargo because I am very dissatisfied with the service and I may be looking to find a better bank. The reason why my review has become negative is because my reimbursement check was turned away and I was made to feel like a criminal because of the staffs incompetence. The check that I am referring to is a reimbursement check from a settlement where my previous Health insurance had improperly denied my drug screens. This was a proper court case Micone v. UMR, where UMR had to pay out to their insurance participants that had insurance with them at the time. So I had recently set up a bank account with Wells Fargo and was quite pleased with my experience. Also this check came at a great time for me because I really needed the money while I am in limbo before getting my job back. I brought my check to my bank and everything seemed normal until the manager came to the window. She told me that she tried to run the check and it wasn’t showing that it came back to anything. She said it was probably fake and she embarrassed me in front of the other tellers. She was uncooperative and basically judged me by my appearance and could not give a good reason for not accepting the check other than what amounted to an opinion and prejudice. I did not leave a bad review the day that it happened because I was curious if she was right or not. I called the number that came with the check and the reimbursement office told me that my bank was wrong and that it was a real check. I gave my mom the check to cash with her bank, Navy Federal and not surprisingly the check went through, for all of the money. So, not only was I taken advantage of by the insurance company, when they finally reimburse me for all the money I had to spend out of pocket, this unprofessional bank manager treats me like a thug. I want answers Wells Fargo. Is this how you will treat every check I bring to you? I think I’m going to work my way up the ladder at Wells Fargo on the phone and try to figure out who I need to speak to, to make this right. Also I will not be recommending this bank to anyone I know. I’m furious I was treated like this and that the manager was so smug and short with me when she dismissed me.
