Chose to Use atm to deposit cash into my account instead of going inside branch because the service is terrible. I out 3200 dollars into the atm and it went into an error and showed that my money will be "held for safe keeping ". When i alerted staff they told "oh yea thats a new machine" and "its not their responsibility to service the atm machine and to file a claim. I needed those funds deposited for rent and they treated the situation like it was no big deal. Its been 3 days and i cant get anyone to answer the phone or return ky calls from the branch. Avoid this branch if you value your time and money.

Worst experience. I waited over an hour just to close an empty safety deposit box, so that I wouldn’t be charged for another year. Ms. Liu told me it would be a process & I had to wait. There was 1 person ahead of me which she said would take her 10-15 mins, before she took care of me. She spent an hour with them—while in between helping multiple people who came in after me and chatting with other customers and employees.
When she finally called me (the bank was empty by then because she had taken care of everyone except me), the process of closing the box took less than 5 minutes. It would’ve been even quicker, but she walked away mid-process to chat with a coworker. I had to get up and go look for her.
I had told her from the beginning that I had driven a long distance and had taken time off and needed to return to work. The bank closes at 5 every day, which makes it impossible to get to after work. That is the reason that I did not get up and leave.
I have been with Truist bank since it was Suntrust for over 40 years.
So happy that this is not my branch and I will never return here.
Terrible service—very unprofessional. Horrible customer service.

The customer service at this branch is terrible. It took me more than 45 minutes to speak with a representative inside, even though there were not many customers present to justify such a long wait time.
