At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
First I'd like to address that the only reason I chose truist banking was because the business checking account does not have monthly fees or minimum.
The experience starts in August when I make an appointment to create a business account but was turned away because my sunbiz for my business was a registered agent, the mailing address was not the same as my ID?
So then I went through several hoops to change the addresses, fees included.
Rescheduled an appointment with my business manager and was on the phone with a very confused kind woman stating that the mailing addresses should not have mattered. Our appointment was at 9am, the agent was slightly late for our appointment due to morning.
She made a good suggestion on opening a second checking account and using it as savings, which better suited our needs. However the experience was a little awkward because Miss Luna is a bit of a gaslighter as she repeated many time information on top of us speaking. She mistakenly made me redo a voice all with truist because she accidently pressed the wrong button, and on top of that became impatient.
As we agreed to have the secondary checking account with cards to use, I wanted the other primary account to have the promo that was shown online.
We also spoke her about the need to having being able to zelle ourselves within the accounts.
As a branch manager, 1.) She did not notify us of the promo until I brought it up. 2.) I am not entirely sure she knew how zelle worked within the integrated but we were missing a key piece of why we wanted zelle for EACH of us.
3.) The promo was put on the wrong account so then I had to make sure I renamed everything and make sure the cards that were order were coming from the correct account. We had a phone chat with her and she was professional, but nonetheless gaslighting by saying "remember when we talked about, you said, etc"
My business manager and I debriefed about this. If your left feeling more confusing and conflicted with your own plan for your business, something is wrong.
Overall the experience was nothing special, and we won't be going to the maitland branch again.

Bad customer service for one of your employees. The indian gentleman that work there (teller) is not professional, lay down on his chair and don't want to help the customer. Thanks.

I dealt with this branch off and on for the past several years. So glad they have a new manager and staff since the merger. They are always helpful and June Torres ( the manager) is always a wealth of information.

Horrible experience with Suntrust and their loan department. Will never use them for anything in the future.
