- DDDavid6 days ago1.0Absolute worst customer service I have ever gotten from a bank! I got a flyer in the mail to open a checking account, with an incentive. The mailer stated to open an account online or at your local branch. So i go to the local branch in Lakeland and was told that i had to do it online. Ok, fine! I tried that when i finished my application it was unable to complete the application. And to call or visit my local branch, I called the 1-800 number and the agent told me I had to go to the branch to open the account. I replied that i was instructed to apply online!!!! she was apologetic but i had to go to the local branch. so I call the branch to make sure i can do this, because I've already wasn't my time already once today to do so, and now they are not picking up the phone. Waited on the phone for 20 plus minutes!!!

In the meantime the car next to me pulled in after me and was gone in two minutes. No dedicated teller for drive thru apparently so you’re at the mercy of the tellers servicing walk ins.
