  Just closed my Wells Fargo account that I opened in 1989 (at a predecessor bank). I Moved my company accounts several years ago and I opened a new main personal account at a nice regional bank after Wells Fargo bought Wachovia. I finally decided I didn't need to pay a monthly fee for 2 bank accounts. I found Wells Fargo to be hard to work with. There is constant turnover. And there were well publicized accounts of where the bank was fined millions of dollars because thousands of employees were caught being dishonest. They expect customers to be honest yet they were proven to be dishonest. As a conservative it also bothered me how woke they got with supporting Pride month and DEI. Maybe thats why the service went down. Nearly everyone in the Lake Mary office is a minority person. Maybe they were DEI hires. A couple can't speak English clearly. Anyway, I'm glad to finally be free after 38 years as a customer.

  It's about the CD. Grace period expired few days ago, it gives 10 days to renew, then kicks in for 3 months for 1.5%. So I called WF 800 nr, they made appointment with LM branch, told me that it'll get fixed. I get there to WF, was informed that prior for me to put my CD back on 4month 4% deposit, they will have to charge me $200 , even when this period it only made $24. Manager couldn't do anything, and Manager should know, how to keep clients stay with bank, instead nothing was done. It's like keep your money here or take it to other bank, we don't care about you, only about your money. Been with them since 2009, today is enough.

  Disappointed in hospitality of this Wells Fargo. I came in to the branch to do a withdraw and I needed assistance with my card replacement. I was not done being helped and the lady excused me to take the next person. She was not mean but you can tell she wanted me to be gone as soon as possible. I had only been up there for 2 -3 minutes and needed assistance and I kindly asked for help. I work in the banking industry myself as a banker and I and it’s been a very long time since I stepped foot in Wells. I did not feel welcomed or was greeted I only felt rushed even though they were not backed up. Honestly makes me rethink my relationship as a consumer and a business banking with Wells Fargo.
