What frustrated me most was not just the fraud itself, but the complete lack of communication. I was never sent any fraud alerts, and earlier I was told that all charges had to go through first before I could be credited back. No one explained how long that process takes or what to expect next, so I came in person hoping for real clarification. Instead, I was met with indifference. The teller wasn’t rude, but they were emotionally blank and pushed me through the line like a task instead of a customer dealing with a stressful financial issue. There was no reassurance, no empathy, no willingness to pause for answers just an “uncaring, oh well, next in line” energy. The interaction felt rushed, robotic, and surprisingly cold for a branch that’s supposed to support the people trusting them with their money. I left without any meaningful guidance, still unsure about how long the fraud credit process takes, and deeply disappointed. The biggest takeaway for me here is that customer care matters just as much as policies. This branch clearly missed the mark. I expected clarity and concern, but I got silence and apathy instead. Banks handle money. People handle stress. This branch seems to forget the second part.
