We received a settlement in his name and couldn’t get TD Bank in Jupiter to cash it. Felicia Gordon, a manager at TD Bank, told me that she “can’t keep opening and closing the account to cash checks” even though the bank wasn’t busy at all. I would have been willing to pay a fee for the service but it didn’t matter. Unfortunately, this was my dad’s only account so I have no way of cashing it. It was disappointing since my father-in-law was such a loyal customer and TD Bank, specifically Felicia, didn’t care.

About a week or so I received a letter for the CD account confirmation with blank interest rate and other boxes I need to fill in. I went to TD Bank, I was told I'm only getting 1% interest rate for 1 year because I don't have a checking account. Felicia helped me out and waived the $50 penalty for early withdrawal. If I didn't visit and waited 1 year for maturity that's the only time I would know that it's only giving me 1% interest rate. TD Bank online should have a big pop up stating that if I continue I will only get 1% without a checking account. The online version of this promotional CD rate is very deceiving! I'm giving 5 star only for Felicia who helped me withdrew my money and waived the $50 penalty. Thank you Felicia for a wonderful service. If ever I decided to bank with TD bank in the future, it would be because of you.
