  THE WORST WELLS FARGO BRANCH! Every time I go in there’s a line and they move SO SLOW! Walked in to make a simple cash withdrawal today at 9:43am with only 3 people in front of me, now it’s 10:07am and I’m still standing here waiting!! THE WORST!!!

  Just left this branch, attempting to pay off a 2yr old balance, got excellent customer service from, employee, Trent. He was very polite and went out of his way to be helpful. I've spent the past few weeks attempting to open a checkings account at different banks, but I've been turned around due to a 2yr old balance of $82 owed to wells Fargo. I finally saved the money to pay off the debt and when i get there trent informs me that it wasn't showing in their computing system so he called a number to inquire if it was in write offs. He then relayed the information to me that the $82 was the "hard amount", meaning the amount that I took away in hand, but there was a "soft amount", the amount in which I was charged or I acquired in fees from the bank. I then asked could we settle and i pay the amount in which I spent and the fees be waived. The lady over the phone said that would be completely up to the manager on duty at that branch. Trent then calls over the manager who immediately said he wasn't going to do it, he would not allow me to pay $100 and settle the account so that I would finally be able to open an account. Now, I'm not, nor have I ever been a manager at a bank but it seems to me that taking no money for a 2yr old account is less helpful to the bank then accepting the $100. Im a working mother of 5 with two places of employment and I am unable to acquire a checking or savings account due to this matter. $281.00, $200.00 of which is just fees acquired is an awful lot for a mom of 5 to not only save but also give away in order to open an account. I 100% understand that it's money I owe but I do not understand how if the amount that I owe is of such importance to the bank to the extent that the manager couldn't accept what I could afford to pay, he had to have the entire amount, if that 200 dollars is going to make or break wells Fargo then it can't be a place where your money is safe. It seems to me that its not so much that but more, a person ina position to help another human being whose struggling just didn't care to do so. $200 to a mom of 5 is $200, but $200 to wells Fargo, ......is just $200.
