This location could use some education on customer service. With 4+ workers milling around there and 1 customer at the window for a couple mins, not being greeted when you walk in, then told to sit in the lobby for 7+ mins while all the workers did something else (not helping any customer), is just not acceptable. We needed a wire transfer quickly for a home closing and the wait seemed forever - just frustrating to have workers walk past you and not acknowledge or speak to you. Once we got the branch manager/lead and in his office, things went fine.

Had an appointment June 18th to close accounts with the branch manager Justin Dirghalli. He assured me he would get everything in order. Here we are a full month later, he’s returned not one phone call from my staff, and when I just show up unannounced and frankly quite perturbed, he finally gets to work. Guess what? More paperwork (their forms) and it is still going to take another three to four days for their legal team to “make a decision.” Justin didn’t even have the decency to have the paperwork ready (he has been on notice since 6/18…) More wasted time coming back to the bank. The delay will be even longer because I’m working out of town next week so we’re now going to be at six weeks to close an account. I’d course, I have to physically come back in to close the accounts. Absolutely unacceptable. Last but not least, of all the banks I’ve visited to close accounts, Truist is the only one who requires my personal information while I’m working in an official capacity. It has taken Justin a whopping 30 minutes to complete the 2 pages I need to sign. Truist, and in particular the Regency Branch, is a bank better left unused in my opinion. Try Ameris Bank where they are efficient, they’ll get their own paperwork correct, and won’t be “too busy” to deal with their customers.

Blonde American lady treated me like a criminal for trying to cash my check with my passport, which is a valid identification. Then, proceeded to hold my check as a hostage because my account was on $0 and was ‘deactivated’ and she is ‘ Not allowed to give my check back.’ Then she proceeded to cash my check, put it $50 Into the said deactivated account and charge me the $8 fee for hashing a check despite being a member. Horrible and rude customer service.
