- SMShaina MurphyJun 21, 20251.0Don't waste your time coming here. If your set on banking with TD Bank you're better off going to a different branch. The staff is rude and did not want to help. Came to open a checking account (we all know how simple that is) and was given a million excuses right off bat as to why she couldn't do it (I also had every form of document needed). I left after explaining one to many times that I had the necessary documents and opened an account the same day with a different bank.
- SMSerenity MeJun 2, 20251.0We had a very disappointing experience at the TD Bank Normandy branch. From the moment we approached Ms. Sledge’s station, her demeanor felt off. We asked what paperwork was needed to add someone to an account, and she only mentioned “her ID and your debit card.” After providing those, she then said she needed my actual Social Security card. I didn’t have it on me, but she said I could provide something else with my SSN on it. I offered my W-2, other tax documents on my phone, and even a clear photo of my Social Security card—front and back. She said that would work. However, after we went to the car to retrieve the phone and returned with the documents pulled up, she suddenly said she couldn’t accept digital copies and refused to print anything for us. She told us to go home or to Office Depot to print it ourselves. Why not mention that before we stepped out to get the phone? We didn’t appreciate the tone, the lack of clarity, or the way the situation was handled. Thankfully, we went to the Tinseltown branch afterward, where the staff was incredibly kind, efficient, and had no issue helping us with the same documentation—no Office Depot trip required. I would not recommend the Normandy branch. The Tinseltown location offers far better customer service.
