At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
I’ve been banking with SunTrust for over 14 years simply because I dislike change and it’s close to home—but I’ve finally had enough. The customer service at my local branch is consistently poor. The tellers seem more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers efficiently. Instead of moving the line quickly, they act like they’re on “island time,” with no sense of urgency. To make matters worse, the deposit machine is always out of service, which defeats the purpose of quick banking altogether. It’s frustrating and unprofessional. I’ve stayed loyal for too long, but this might finally be the push I needed to switch banks.

Maybe I got lucky? Went in there on Friday around 1pm, 2 tellers, 4 customers inside including a sleeping gecko below the counter..
I deposited my check within 4 minutes, took the hungry gecko and was out the door. Pretty much the same service and speed I get on the west side. I guess it's 'all about the timing'..

THEIVES....YES I SAID THIEVES. I OPENED A BUSINESS ACCOUNT IN NOVEMBER OF THIS YEAR. I OPEND IT WITH A THOUSAND DOLLAR MONEY ORDER FROM MY PERSONAL CREDIT UNION. THEN I RETREIVED A TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR CASHIERS CHECK TO FUND MY BUSINESS ON WEDNESDAY. MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND FOR CHECK FRAUD AND I DID NOT USE ANY FUNDS IN THE ACCOUNT BECAUSE I HAD NOT RECEIVED MY DEBIT CARD. IT HAS BEEN OVER TWO WEEKS AND NO RESPONSE FROM THE FRAUD DEPT AND NO INFORMATION IS BEING PROVIDED TO ME. PER MY CREDIT UNION THEY WERE NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THE VALIDITY OF THEIR CASHIERS CHECK OR MONEY ORDER THAT THEY GAVE ME. THIS BANK HAS UNFAIR PROCEDURES. STAY AWAY!!
