We are hundreds of miles away and the branch office has temporarily blocked my account, basically freezing our activity with vendors and offered NO REASON than to visit the branch office. After investing 5 hours of making phone calls, getting a runaround and speaking to their call centers in the Philippines, we have been told the local branch office can resolve it only. I have tried to call the local branch office multiple times and NONE OF THE NUMBERS ON THEIR CARD WORK! THE CARD IS 2 MONTHS OLD. The toll free number is a "Cruise Hotline" hawking free vacations. THANK GOD we have other accounts. My next move when getting back into town is to take funds from the account and SHUT IT DOWN. I will NEVER do business with Citibank again. We were even thinking of letting them handle our merchant services. Definitely not now. Words of advice: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
