I went to the branch to deposit a check received from my insurance company for hurricane ian damage. this is one of many checks received so far and they have all been made out to me and my wife. I have always entered the branch (multiple different branches depending on where I am and where I'm going) and endorsed the check and deposited. For some reason, yesterday they would not accept the check unless my wife also endorsed it. In all the years I have been banking at Wells Fargo and other banks, no one has ever refused a deposit because my wife (WHO IS ON THE ACCOUNT) didn't endorse it. Extremely inconvenient and rude.
