  One star to Irene, the sad woman on a notary power trip who wouldn't notarize my 92 year old father's documents. First, I asked if she would be able to notarize the papers where he was sitting, close to the door, as he is 92 and has difficulty walking. She refused saying notaries had to be done in an office... Really??? Anyone who has been to a UPS store knows that is a bold faced lie.... so there's that... then one of the other bankers, taking pity on my father as he struggled to make his way to her back office, asked if Irene could use Jason's office, as it was closer to my father's current location. Irene agreed, reluctantly, complaining she would have to bring ALL her "equipment" with her. Equipment??...you mean the 2-3 ounce self-inking notary stamp? Next, my father's name is Pasquale, but he always uses Pat... Needless to say, even after providing several legal documents that his lawyer emailed over stating Pasquale aka Pat, as well as his Florida ID card that says Pasquale but signed Pat... Irene wasn't having any of it and finally flat out refused to notarize his paperwork. Irene, so impressed with herself and the little bit of authority she has as a notary has completely gone to her head. Her lack of compassion and understanding towards my 92 year old, veteran father was unconscionable.
