Unfortunately, phone support and secure chat often brushed me off — I was even told it wasn’t possible because I was outside the U.S. When I connected with Evan, everything changed. He took responsibility for the issue, carefully investigated, and requested the information needed to move things forward. Even when the first fixes didn’t work, he didn’t push the problem back on me. Instead, he worked with others inside the bank on my behalf and stayed on top of it until we reached a solution. Over two weeks, Evan showed persistence, ownership, and genuine care for the customer. Thanks to him, the issue was fully resolved — and instead of switching banks, I stayed with SouthState. His dedication made all the difference.

I switched to Bank of America which has a 25/hr ATM that you can use to deposit cash and checks at anytime. Plus the mobile app is a thousand times better and let's you deposit checks with your phone. Avoid centerstate at all costs. Drive up the road a mile and use bank of America. It's so worth it.
