- CLCynthia LamaaNov 10, 20251.0Terrible Customer Service Experience zero Stars !!!! I’ve been a customer of First Citizens Bank for several years . I rarely visit the branch in person, but I went in to deposit a check and politely asked the teller if he could please print a copy of another digital check something completely legal and often done as a courtesy at other banks. The young teller was kind, but a senior woman sitting behind him at a desk apparently a supervisor was extremely rude. She immediately told the teller not to assist me and made me feel like a criminal, as if I was trying to commit fraud. She didn’t even ask if I was an account holder (which I am, for years); she simply denied the request and treated me with clear disrespect. In other, larger banks, this type of request is handled with professionalism and courtesy. Here, I was treated in a humiliating and judgmental way for something so simple. I decided to leave and not complete my deposit, and I’m now seriously considering closing all my accounts with this branch. Very disappointing experience.

This bank is still family owned but their hidden perk is you don't pay no fees on ATM usage. In addition, pretty bummed about the only have one branch in Miami. One ATM in Miami Beach will be closed out once the lease is over. Overall great national bank from North Carolina.
