At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
I have been a Suntrust customer since 2015, after the merger it rename itself Truist. I am not from the Clermont area, but I happen to be around the area. I had a form need to be notary, so I stopped by the Truist. I sat there for 10 minutes and finally a banker walks to me. She is Asian-Indian appearance. I told her I need to notary form DS-3053, Statement of Consent US Passport Issuance to a Child. She told me she couldn't notarize it because it involves in identity. My brain comes with many question marks??? I did this 5 years ago at other Suntrust bank and I never had problem with it. I ended up notarized in other Truist Bank. This banker is very unprofessional and maybe even racist. Need to watch out for this lady.

I would not recommend this location for a loan. What should have taken 1-2 days ended up taking 5 because the banker I was working with was so inexperienced.
I called the main number for this branch several times and spoke to the manager 2-3 times because the banker was so remiss in keeping me up to date, requesting and submitting information, and responding to my emails and voicemails. Of course, more often than not, no one answered the main number, either.
In my opinion, this whole situation was on the manager, as well, since she allowed an experienced banker to work on loans.
I went to another branch yesterday and spoke to an experienced banker. She was outstanding. I will be working with her from now on and will never go back to this branch for a loan.

Truist Bank Clermont – Hostile, Unwelcoming, and Borderline Discriminatory
This morning, I arrived at Truist Bank in Clermont around 8:15 AM — well before opening hours at 9:00. I parked in a completely empty lot, in a clearly marked Customer Parking space, and waited quietly in my car to cash a check when the bank opened.
What happened next was absolutely unacceptable.
A woman in a Toyota RAV4, who identified herself as “Savi,” approached me aggressively and told me I wasn’t allowed to be there before the bank opened — claiming the parking space was needed for “opening procedures.” That made zero sense. The lot was empty. There were no signs indicating the space was reserved, it wasn’t marked for staff, handicap, or delivery use. It was simply labeled as customer parking — and I was a customer.
What makes this worse is that I couldn’t help but feel I was being racially profiled. I’m a young-looking Mexican man with long hair, and instead of being treated like a customer, I was treated with suspicion and hostility. Savi even asked, “Are you waiting for someone?” — which was not only bizarre but deeply condescending. I was at a bank, sitting in customer parking, clearly waiting for it to open. Why would I be there for anything else?
The implication was clear: I didn’t “look” like I belonged there. That kind of behavior isn’t just unprofessional — it’s discriminatory.
To top it off, after forcing me to leave, Savi didn’t even go into the bank. She got back in her car and drove off. So the excuse about needing the spot for “opening procedures” was obviously nonsense — it seems she just didn’t want me there.
I’m disgusted by this experience and seriously considering switching banks. Truist should be ashamed to have someone like this representing them. If you value respectful treatment, basic decency, and a bank that doesn’t single you out based on how you look, take your business elsewhere.
Edit: I found her full name out it’s Savitiri Niranjan
