I accidentally left my debit card in the ATM on Saturday. On Monday morning, I called and was told that they had found my card and that I could come pick it up with my ID. I went to the branch during my lunch break. There was only one customer being helped and two tellers working — one handling the lobby and the other the drive-thru. I waited in line, and when it was finally my turn, I explained that I was there to pick up my debit card and gave the teller my ID. She told me to wait, then went to help another drive-thru customer who arrived after me. After waiting around 20–30 minutes, I asked for my ID back because I had to return to work. When I mentioned that I had already been waiting for more than 20 minutes, she rudely said that wasn’t true and that she was very busy. How hard can it be to check my ID and hand me the debit card they already had? Very disappointing experience and completely unprofessional service. I lost my entire lunch break for something that should have taken less than two minutes.

Then / months later we are informed we are eligible, after 20k of accrued interest in charged to us. Executive team reviews the case and does not even admit to an error and will not do anything to rectify the situation. Now we will see them in court. Don’t use Wells Fargo
