- LALynn AyersDec 2, 20251.0I tried to deal with a Truist in Shippensburg, Pa. Rude and very unprofessional. I made an appointment, arrived early....25 mins .... and waited, no problem, meanwhile the tellerline was informing customers coming in the door they couldn't process cash deposits, nothing said to me. Three minutes before MY appointment, the woman on platform, took another customer into her office and proceeded to make me wait 5 minutes past MY app't time....ok....I get called in and she asks how she can help me....I made an app't to open an acct, shouldn't she know that already? I said I wanted to open a checking acc't....oh, we can't do that, you'll have to come back, computers are down. I asked WHY no one told ME that 20 minutes ago? And why would you take a rando customer before me, WITH an app't? She started CRYING!! I didn't raise my voice but it was obvious I was not happy! There was, eventually, THREE reps trying to explain THEIR incompetence! They were RUDE and definitely unprofessional! I was moving, reason why I was opening an acc't....there's a Truist in my new city. My experience with the Shippensburg branch and the reviews here.....NOPE!
