Horrible bank experience. Bank teller was a white man and he was extremely rude, loud, and blatantly racist. The prejudice my fiancé and I experienced was unbelievable. We have a business account with truist and will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. Stay away from this location specifically!!!

Three months ago, I opened a money market account at 4.4% interest. I understood the interest rate was variable and could go up or down. This morning my rate is at .01%. When I went to my local branch in Boca Raton the bank Customer Relation Manager, told me we encourage our customers to monitor their accounts.
Basically, we are going to try to give our customer as little interest as possible and hope they don't catch on. He then raised the rate to 3%. This is still not a competitive rate. I will be closing my accounts ASAP.
Terrible business practice!

I would recommend staying away from truist and this branch. I opened an account here and everything I was told on the phone by customer service was the exact opposite of what they told me in the branch. Something is wrong with communication. I ended up closing the account and opening with Fargo up the street even though the truist banker insisted Fargo wouldn’t be able to help me further… very odd as Fargo was a great experience and took care of my needs within 20 minutes. I would reccomend considering Fargo or another bank nearby.
