- ABAnnika ButlerAug 15, 20251.0Let me start by saying, I only have wells fargo because my mother refuses to leave Wells Fargo. First, my initial interation with the notary at this branch was interesting. He led with What do you need and do you have an appointment. Mind you, the branch was EMPTY. He let me know before I even had a seat that he wears too many hats and he would NOT assist me without an appointment (at the empty branch). This time it would be a courtesy. Secondly, he looked at the document, skimmed it, and told me there was not place for his notarization. Once I showed him where we needed to sign, he told me there was no place for his acknowldedgment. At this point, he's giving me the impression that he does not want to notarize this document. He proceeds to leave the office while I'm verifying what type of certificate we need him to provide. He then returns to tell me that because the signer is not a Wells Fargo customer he will not be notarizing the document. The entire interation was unsettling and I will go the extra mile to another branch before stepping foot into that location again. I would never want to interrupt him from such busy work. Maybe the branch should hire additional staff to keep relinquish him of some of his duties.
