I am a customer of Truist bank. So on Sunday, February 16 I went to the ATM here to deposit some cash into my account, well instead of the amount getting deposited I got a receipt saying that the amount was not deposited and instead given a slip to call Truist. Dude, it's Sunday and secondly the people on the phone just didn't care and I just pray I get $120 back. From now on I will never go thru an ATM for anything if I need money or deposit they got the tellers and if the bank is closed well I can wait. Patience and time are valuable when doing things correctly. Had I waited til Tuesday February 18 I would have been able to get go to the teller put the money in and that would have been it. Nope sometimes an ATM is not a convenience.
****Update: The issue had been addressed and resolved thankfully.
ON 4/1 I realized that to avoid the $12 fee taken out of my money I have to do my $500 deposit. I go to the branch and the person I think screwed me over to do the $500 in my account so I will not be charged a fee, and I am calling corporate on 4/2 and filing a complaint. I had over $500 in cash to put in. Instead, of putting the $500 into my account she separated $240 from it so I can do my money order/cashier's check. Now, I am short because the way she did it.
From now, I will go to a different Trusit to do the deposit and then go to a different a Truist to get my cashier check.
I understand everyone is bout making money, but these days no one has an extra $12 for a fee being taken out of. I will be arguing with Truist about the fee for this month. Some people might be thinking oh it's just $12 but guess what I lost my job due to the Dummy in the white house. I do not have $12 to spare.
