- RHReGina hawkinsJan 3, 20261.0I have been trying to get in contact with someone for a week now and regarding my account when I finally did reach someone at the branch at Rhode Island Row she was extremely nasty and tried to say that I need to use debit not credit. When I explain to her I know how to use my card and I know which account I have. Then try to say that I need to tell the merchant that it's debit not credit. It doesn't matter if you have a debit or credit account. If you have money in your account and it's a debit card you can still swipe it as credit as long as you have money on your card. She also was being a smart aleck saying go try to use it again and see if it works and then call back knowing that they close in 15 minutes and will not be open until Monday. I am closing my account with them and I'm not turning back. Good thing I do have Navy Federal already. I've waited 45 minutes for them to call me back for them to keep transferring me over to different people to verify my information. Neither one of these people was speaking clearly for me to understand them. One two. It was too much stuff and noise going on in the background that had nothing to do with work and it did not sound like a call center. I've worked at one

I was the only person in line for five minutes, why the employees was chatting about hairstylist before a teller came to service me than the teller act like she had a attitude. I ask for all hundred dollars bill she was rude and said I give you what I had very disrespectful. I didn’t have time to speech with manger. I’m a twenty plus year customer I never had bad customer service from citi bank it maybe better to go to than branch.
