  I mean it may just be me but I thought a social and a id card was identification 😂, if im cashing a check that i got that has your banks name on it. 🤷‍♀️

  I went into Webster bank for a home equity loan. They didn’t help me with my loan, told me they would close my loan application if I didn’t meet there deadline (which was in less than a week), kept asking me to open a bank account and insisted it would help me get approved for a loan, just to deny my loan application. And then when I asked them to close the account they asked me to open, they said “no, I can’t do that.”

  This branch in the worse they try to make a simple closing account very hard for me , I went there 3 times and they gave such a hard time rude staff and not knowledgeable at all .the first time I stayed 20 min in line I had my debit card with me and they said they couldn’t fully verify you so they didn’t , of course I complained for the wait,and I just went now to close my account they were 3 employees there I stayed in line for 10min and she said she had an appointment so she couldn’t take care of me .very disappointed I think they took it personally with me which is not appropriate and the right way how they are supposed to treat customers.And Lisa the manager she was there looking and didn’t help at all
