- JRJennifer ROct 8, 20251.0I called the bank and it took a very long time for anyone to answer the phone. I was looking to rent a safe deposit box, I was told I could make an appointment. I would happily have made an appointment if the individual who answered the phone could have answered if there were any safe deposit boxes available for rent. I was told the bank could not tell me if they had a box for rent without an appointment, when I pressed for pricing I got a sigh and a vague response about a yearly rate, still unclear if they had a box for rent or if different size boxes had different pricing? I am an existing account holder, I am currently researching other banks to switch to...

Their decentralized model means that everything is done at the branch level, so you must come in personally to do anything remotely complicated. This was my mother's bank when she died, and I live in Chicago. They don't answer their phone, they don't respond to emails, they don't return calls that they have promised to. TERRIBLE experience all around.
