If you are Black, look Black, or if the branch manager believes you are Black, your entire account will likely be placed on hold. Lorien, the branch manager, has repeatedly shown racist behavior and should be removed from his position immediately. There are already numerous complaints about him, yet he continues to treat customers unfairly. This place gets 0 stars During my visit, he looked up my address and condescendingly asked, “And where did you get this money from?” — as if a young Black woman who owns and operates a business couldn’t possibly have legitimate income. His behavior was demeaning, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable. It’s disgusting that this kind of treatment is still happening in 2025, especially within a national bank that claims to value diversity and inclusion.

One star is far too generous of a rating. I was sent by my boss to make change for our register and inquire about opening a business account for our store. I walked up to one of the tellers, and she cut off my greeting with a very exasperated "Oh, I'm NOT dealing with you." Some other folks behind the counter just laughed. How am I supposed to react to that? Still, I tried to explain that I needed change and that my manager wanted to open a business account, and that I'd like to pick up any necessary paperwork for it. The lady I'm talking to mumbles something else as I'm trying to explain that. A man who I assume is the manager walked up to me, so I tried explaining that I was running an errand for my boss to break change and open up a bank account for a business, but he kept interrupting me as I tried to speak. He tells me that the bank had already broken up change from our business as a courtesy in the past and that the establishment cannot do it again. I was not aware anyone from my place of employment had been in the bank for change previously, but I wasn't able to explain myself before leaving. I'd never set foot in this building before today. While it would have been fair to just tell me that the bank was unable to break change for non-bank members, I didn't have to be heckled before even daring to ask. Again, I was interrupted for attempting to greet someone, "Good afternoon." Never have I ever been treated so poorly at any bank, or any place of business in my life. Never in my life have I felt laughed out of an establishment. After all this, I walked a little further up the street to First County Bank and opened up a business account with them instead. At no point did the kind folks there laugh, mock, interrupt, or talk down to me.

I've been a customer for many years, Helena and Ciro are the best, but new manager is the worst, very rude, I even felt discriminated, I go here because is very convenient and close to my house but now I am even thinking about closing my account with this bank.
