- GDGeorgiana DillmanAug 23, 20251.0A few years ago when moving to the area I was instructed by KeyBank that I needed to visit a physical branch to change my name legally on my car loan. I went to this location with the necessary documentation and signed/filled out the paperwork required of me. I had a bad feeling that the manager did not know what he was doing based on a comment that was made about my marriage certificate. The information was sent into the “back office”. I gave it time and nothing had happened. I even called to follow up and was instructed to give it more time to process and the manager would also follow up. Honestly I left it on the back burner and life just happened. It was aggravating to have taken the time to drive 40 minutes out of my way to handle this and not have it properly processed. Here I am having paid off my car loan today and needing to rectify a situation that should have been handled properly then. I understand there has been some time since this occurred but I won’t lie this whole ordeal had irked me for years on how it played out. I understand that it was my responsibility to ensure I continued to followed up but when this was the closest location to me, paired along with the experience it wasn’t like I was jumping at the idea of returning back to this branch.

I am reading the bad reviews and I feel I have to stick up for the crew. I find this group of KeyBank employees to be the most professional I have ever seen at this location. There has been low turnover since the new ownership. The lobby looks nicer. The online banking is extremely easy to use. The staff always goes out of their way to assist me. I find the service consistent at other Key branches. My only complaint is that I have to drive to Westbrook when I need a notary. There used to be one in this branch.
- NHNicole heavenorSep 20, 20191.0Poor customer service. I live 45 minutes away. Drove out to take care of an urgent matter. And they refused to see me they wanted me to make an apt. I know they close in 10 minutes but as a banker taking care of your customers and business is suppose to be your number one priority. I left very upset.
