  Worst bank ever. They will lock you out of your card while out of state even if you notify them you are traveling, for "unusual activity." Did this to me in Maine while buying a halloween costume for my grandchildren. Declined the purchase which was humiliating in a long line of people and my poor granddaughter who spent an hour picking out her items was upset. Wouldn't turn the card back on after they canceled it without any notice or call at all to me. Wouldn't let me even xfer my money digitally to Venmo or a digital wallet. Said that was also "suspicious." And this act doesn't have a lot of money in it, not something that needs this much fraud protection. It's stupid. They make me feel like I need to cut off a toe and send it in for DNA evaluation for a simple purchase under $100? I was going to cancel bc there is no Webster bank in Maine and the nearest one a 6 hour drive so had I not been staying with family I would have been sleeping in my car which I couldn't even put gas into without access to my money. But a nice corporate manager called and apologized so stupidly I stayed. Now my daughters act has been shut off for fraud so she needed to use my card and I had to spend over an hour wading thru the 💩 that is their automated hell, bc I couldn't log in. "Gladys" tells me their system is down for maintenance and this is why I cant login. But when its down for maintenance it tells you this so I objected and asked why it doesn't say this and instead says my password is wrong and I am now locked out and need to reset my password. She was rude and I asked for a supervisor. She didn't respond and just cold tansfered me back into the automated queue! Unacceptable behavior for a CSR! I called back and got "Andrea" who was very professional and nice, answered my questions and even stayed on the line with me to ensurey new password was working. I wanted to give her a kudos and she put me thru to their survey for her which I would have given a superior review but their system of he!! would not recognize my touch tone answers! Nothing works at this bank and their overly intrusive "fraud protection" is anhorrent.

  Some of the greatest people work at this location. As a customer I always feel respected and appreciated. It's always nice to work with a competent bank and a passionate workforce.

  Love Webster, but have begun hating going to this branch... Please stop asking if I would like to open a credit card or trying to get me to put my money in a CD etc... The one “ manager “ ? Is the worst... if she is working the teller line I turn around and walk out... three stars only because of this... otherwise it would have been 5.
