- JJJAug 27, 20251.0I received a postcard in the mail from Wells Fargo with a promotional offer to open a new business bank account. I scheduled an appointment online and was assigned to Nirva. When I spoke to her, she said she has never opened a bank account for a company that is registered as a foreign LLC in the State of CT. I asked her to transfer me to someone else that has opened up these types of accounts, she put me on a long hold and she never emailed me a list of documents I need to bring to the appointment. . I called back and spoke to Diana, I explained to her that it is registered in the State of Delaware and setup as a foreign LLC in CT. I had to repeat myself three times to her as she did not seem to understand the business structure either even though it is very common in CT. I explained to her that it is a Delaware company registered with the State of CT as a foreign LLC and I live and work in CT. When I asked her what documents are required to open a bank account for the business, she said “you need to bring an invoice with your address on it”. I wasted over two hours trying to get help, just a waste of my time.
