I had a great experience so far with setting up my accounts. Natasha was thoughtful and walked me through the whole process. Last week I hit a snag where my account was restricted and she was able to help me in less than two hours.

Unacceptable Treatment & Mishandling of Cashier’s Check (Fairfield / Milford, CT)
Describing a complaint about the unacceptable service and conduct my family experienced at your Fairfield and Milford, CT branches. The sequence of events below demonstrates a pattern of errors and extremely poor management that has caused my family unnecessary stress, lost time, and financial risk.
Summary of incident:
A KeyBank teller issued my father a cashier’s check that contained no check number (all zeros). This is a fundamental error for a financial institution.
When my father returned to the branch to have the issue corrected, he requested to speak with a manager. Instead of resolving the situation, branch manager Bruna Memaj verbally removed my father from her office and told him to leave. At one point she threatened to call the police. This is unacceptable behavior from a manager toward any member of the public or a client.
My father is not an account holder at KeyBank; he was issued a cashier’s check by a business partner. Despite that, your staff’s handling of the situation was irresponsible and escalatory.
After the second cashier’s check was issued, the deposit at the receiving bank was delayed for two days and then inexplicably subject to a stop payment. We were given no explanation, and it appears the stop payment may have been applied intentionally (by Bruna).
We have tried to escalate the matter to corporate and to branch staff at both Fairfield and Milford, but we have been ignored — no one has returned our calls or provided answers.
This treatment is intolerable. My father spent eight hours and PLUS resolving an error that was created by your staff, and received nothing but t silence in return. Being told to “get out” and threatened with law enforcement by a manager is not just rude — it is a severe breach of professional conduct for a bank representative.

Awful service by every teller so far. We've been banking here
3 or more times a week for 4 years. So, a LOT of poor service. Tellers seem to be on a permanent break, and they act arrogantly like customers are bothering or interrupting them with obtuse and even bored attitudes towards the customers. Customers are treated like burdens here in Milford, CT at Key Bank. Never too helpful, more often they're complaining about the work. Every question is answered with No. No forthcoming information, not even a polite No, Sorry about that. They're not acting sorry the behavior is entitled and lazy. So, we've decided enough of the poor treatment and we're taking our money elsewhere. I suggest everyone do the same. Nobody should feel like they have to make full grown adults to do their jobs, I need tellers that will actually WILLINGLY help me with my transactions. Zero stars. There's a ton of other banks in the area with happy, helpful employees. No bueno
