- TATyler AgyemangJul 9, 20252.0If I recall correctly: I went to this branch a few years ago, hoping to close a joint account. Someone working there told me that I could only close it if the other owner also agreed to close it(I'm not sure if they said that the person had to be present or not). Last year when I went to make a withdrawal, I learned that the other owner of the account had closed it, possibly indicating that it was not absolutely necessary to have both parties consent to the closure. I asked the employee who told me about the closure whether it was necessary for the joint owners to agree to the closure, and he told me that it wasn't. I am giving it a low rating, because someone either didn't know the facts but still gave me an answer or did know the facts and lied to me.
