  This place wouldn't cash a Webster Bank check drawn from them. Just so everyone knows their checks are useless here

  I banked with Webster for over 5 years, and am in the process of removing every penny from my accounts and going anywhere else. Their Essex and Saybrook location went under a change in management and has turned into an absolute mess. I waited an entire month for a new card while the staff were less than helpful. I waited a month for a new card while I got behind on bills, memberships, subscriptions, and couldn’t even download a free app. I have still not received the card even after pleading with the employees several times an week about how critical this is, and my needs for it to be expedited. Webster bank destroyed my financial reputation that will not be easily repaired. I would not encourage anybody to bank with them in any capacity. They do not care about you.

  Whahooo! Websterbank saved me from a $10,000 scam. What more could one want from their bank? Security is #1 in this day and age.

  Friendly small bank..only down point is that they need longer customer friendly hours
