- ASAtiya SampleFeb 29, 20242.0I have banked w/ TD for about a decade or so without incident. In 2-29-24, I visited the Cheshire branch to make a cash deposit. The teller working the driver through accepted my cash. After counting it and placing it in bands, she asked me “What is your occupation?” I responded “excuse you!” and she repeated her inquiry. 🤔 ( Queen Pin?,Madam?, Hit Lady?🤷🏼♀️) I finally mustered out a “Legal.” She proceeded to process my deposit into an account I’ve had for years. As I was leaving, I commented to detailer that I’m familiar with and I told her it’s ridiculous how people are being treated like criminals. Thereafter, someone chimed in and informed me that it is a banking regulation. I inquired as to the start date and was informed that it started in October. I admiringly and unaware of such. Nonetheless, I went to one of my other banks and inquired as to whether or not the teller ever heard of such. She said that not for the amount of my deposit. I do NOT appreciate being asked for my occupation! As soon as my CD matures, I will withdraw EVERY penny of my money. TD does not need to hold any of my suspicious funds.🤦🏽♀️ God forgive I make another cash deposit of the same or higher amount. (I retrieved the cash from Chase- date and time stamped withdrawal slip, from maybe 4 minutes earlier was included.) 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe my occupation is Counterfitter? 🤦🏽♀️ Disgusted and Highly Offended
