  Long story short, I opened a checking account with direct deposit. I was instructed by the woman who opened the account to go on the website, not the app, and choose to have e statements instead of hard copies sent in the mail. After having the account for 6 months I noticed a $3 a month fee being withdrawn and $18 missing. I brought this issue up to one of the tellers who told me they need to create a case to have the money refunded. Well, not only did she not help, but after 2 weeks of waiting i got no answer. Next step ,went to the bank and spoke with a manager Melissa Morrell, she informed me it was my own fault for not checking my account more ofter and would only be able to refund 3 of those transactions. Apparently when you select the e statement option on the website, at the very bottom there is a button customers have to click. Well not only was i not informed about that button, none of the people who helped me set up the account knew about this button. I can only imagine how many people are being charged a $3 fee per month because no one in the bank informed them about their hidden button. SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES, I AM GOING TO ESCALATE THIS TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!

  Been a Webster costumer for almost 17 years and every time i leave with the best experience and problems solved,favorite branch the Webster on pine street of course,best employees,starting with Amy St Germain (family favorite)either in person or by phone.. always professional and quick, informative and polite. Melisa and other ladies..always ready to help.. strongly recommend .

  I normally don't leave reviews but I had to say something about the situation me and my wife dealt with this weekend. Long story short I deposited a check things went wrong with the system (the new system is no good lol) I went in the next day because I have children and we depend on my paycheck and the director Catherine went out of her way to fix the problem and help me and my family she went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! To make sure I had what I needed to provide for my kids and I honestly couldn't be more thankful. This branch isn't the one I normally go to but I will be for here on out. Thank you Catherine for being amazing at your job and showing that you truly care
