Went to Key Bank in Avon to cash a check that a customer gave me. Key Bank has joined the list of Banks that robs non-customers for the audacity to collect funds due in cash. The fee was $7.50. That's not all. After questioning this practice and deciding to proceed with cashing the check, my ID was photographed and uploaded to their system. In addition my SS number was demanded. This is where I declined to proceed. There is no telling what will happen to my information stirring around in another digital system. KEY BANK CUSTOMERS' CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE DUE TO THIS POLICY, at least not by me and shouldn't be acceptable to you either.

I’ve been visiting this branch for about a year, and after reviewing the feedback, I noticed there are only 12 reviews, not all of which are current. While that may not paint the full picture, I want to share my experience, which has been a mix of both positive and constructive observations. On the positive side, the Director of Customer Experience, E. Z*****, and Teller Lead, K. C******, have been nothing short of outstanding. Both have gone above and beyond to make my visits as seamless and pleasant as possible. Their customer service truly stands out, and it’s clear they are dedicated to improving the branch experience for everyone. However, there are a few areas for improvement. For example, I’ve noticed surveys haven't been arriving as frequently as they should. While this appears to be a corporate-wide issue rather than something specific to the branch, it does impact the overall customer experience. This is a missed opportunity to gather valuable feedback that could continue improving the experience. I would suggest that corporate better align with the realities of the branch’s workflow, particularly if survey responses are low. A more proactive approach to communication and understanding the unique challenges at the branch could lead to a smoother and more reliable way for customers to share their appreciation or feedback. That said, I truly believe this new team has the potential to earn your business. Based on my observations, they’re working hard to make positive changes. So, if you’ve had reservations in the past, I’d recommend giving it another chance—it’s definitely worth it.

Never have I ever went to a branch where they called out my balance so everyone could hear. The older Caucasian lady decided to tell me my account was overdrawn loudly then proceeded to saying by exact balance loudly. If it was someone with 100k in their account I’m sure she would never humiliate them like that. Worse branch ever she needs to learn respect and privacy to EVERYONE!
