The only thing I down rate with ENT in general is the last time I refinanced I was charged way to much in costs and fees and the process took 4 months to complete...It has taken years of paying extra on my payments just to absorb the costs of the refi... I am a long time member with ENT and have an exceptional credit rating and expected to be treated better...So look around if you are getting a mortgage or refinancing, you are more likely to find a more reasonable situation somewhere else. Also since ENT has taken over the ENT rewards credit card I have had many problems accessing my card online.

I was on the phone for 10 minutes of endless repeat messages and uplifting muzak before getting to talk to a person, who told me the rates. First, I'd like to know why ENT can't give customers (I sure didn't feel like a "member") the option of a call back. Many businesses do that nowadays, and it reduces customer frustration. Second, I found that ENT's CD rates are lower than those at my local bank (Park State Bank). And not only that, whenever I call PSB, I get a person almost immediately. I have a CD at ENT that recently renewed at a really crappy rate because I forgot to call them in time to cash it in. Yes, that's my fault, but I felt like I'd been assaulted. After finding out the current rates, I tried to log into my online ENT account and couldn't do that. They texted me a code number, which I could not use because I don't text. (They offered no option of using email.) I then tried to engage in an online "chat" and was told that no chat agents were available. So I called the service number and asked what I should do to reactivate my online account and was told I didn't have one. Blah Blah Blah...I finally talked to a digital representative who helped me to set up a new-old online account, which now seems to be working. In summary, I spent over an hour on the phone, most of it listening to the same awful messages and music, just because I wanted to know ENT's CD rates. I hope that, as a result of their upcoming merger, ENT makes some changes that will better serve their customers. As it is, they're pretty lame.
