- HPHeath PoseyOct 5, 20201.0What a joke of a bank! My wife and I opened 2 accounts with this bank a little over 4 weeks ago. Everything was set up correctly and we had deposited the $1500 & $500 for accounts to avoid the monthly fees. Out of now where I got a call that they were closing the accounts and mailing checks for the funds we had deposited. They said there was a mark on another checking account of mine that was delinquent. I asked Vectra if they could let me figure out what was going on before they closed my accounts and they said it doesn’t matter we are closing your accounts. Turns out that I have an 8 year old checking account that was open with a old car loan I once had and that bank had charged a inactivity fee to the unused account so it went “delinquent” 4 days ago. I let Vectra know what had happened and told them that spoke with the bank about $5 charge / delinquency removed and Vectra told me it doesn’t matter, and they were closing my accounts anyways…. Wow, customer service at its finest. Glad I dodged a bullet with this bank before I switched all of our finances over to them.
