At first, I wondered, why does a computer have business hours? Then it all made sense: the ATM is actually powered by a tiny man named Steve (approx. 16 inches tall) who lives inside the metal box and politely hands out our money. Steve works a regular shift and gets Sundays off to binge "Love is Blind." He’s a hardworking little dude and honestly, he’s earned it. So now, whenever I walk away empty-handed, I just picture Steve on break, eating a lil sandwich. I still don’t have my cash, but at least Steve is chilling. (For real though, this ATM does seem to have frequent downtime, beyond just the posted hours.)

Some of us work at night and sleep 9-5, the world is already more difficult because of that but it gets to be impossible without money. Edit: after waiting in the cold for a few hours trying not to nod off I find out this machine isn't performing transactions through a dialog box that wont even give a reason why it cant perform its basic function. Will be telling as many people as will listen to bank elsewhere, cannot overstate how frustratingly cumbersome it is to use this service. Dont even have the money for a bus ride downtown to deposit my check, online deposits come up with error after error and my sleep deprived antisocial mania is not going to benefit from the long walk.
