We make banking less complicated and your financial goals more attainable. We’re local, have a proven track record, and we’re great listeners. Plus, the money we earn from interest and fees goes back into our credit union in the form of better interest rates, lower fees, and dividends for you.
After nearly seventeen years of banking here I am closing my account. This bank is unprofessional and frankly extremely manipulative toward their members and their personal relationships. Their staff has always been rude to me and it’s never been a pleasant experience to have to pass through here. Now they’re making banking impossible for me and my family so we’re moving on. Do not bank here.

I came in to open a federally required Dedicated SSI Account for my child — something the Social Security Administration mandates for back pay. Not only did the staff have no idea what that was, but they stalled the process, claimed their “risk department” needed to approve it (but was conveniently unavailable), and wasted my time.
This isn’t a complex financial product — it’s a basic compliance account for government funds. The lack of knowledge, urgency, and professionalism was disappointing. If your institution can’t handle a straightforward government-regulated account, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Not recommended for anyone needing anything beyond basic checking.

Went in on 7/23 to try to get an auto loan with my cosigner. The staff member called me up and tried to take our social security numbers in the lobby of the building. I felt uncomfortable and caught off guard being asked our private information in the lobby. My cosigner and I went home and completed the application online. The next day I get an email stating that I have been denied and I have to call in to ask why. I call in and Rod at first can't find our application by our social security numbers or application number. He then talks to "funding" who lets him know that we are Texas residents and submitted Texas IDs with our application. We did not provide them with copies of our IDs or submit our ID number. We also provided them with our Pueblo Colorado address, we have been living and working here for months. Maybe I am wrong, but I believe she quickly looked at the application and saw we had a previous address in Texas and quickly declined us. I believe if there was any questions about the application she should have called us and confirmed our address. PLUS it "dinged" my credit score for them to run my credit. Rod's only suggestion was that i resubmit the application, which would further ding my credit. He didn't give me opportunity to talk to "funding" or a manager to figure out what was happening. Overall, 2 stars because Rod and the lady in the lobby were nice but I had a terrible experience and felt like they gave me "the run around".
