I just left this bank feeling let down. I was going to make a payment to my Dentist who shares the same building and I brought cash. The Dental office was closed so I thought I would get a money order and leave my payment through the mail slot. I had to arrange my schedule to get to this side of town today. I was told it would cost $8 for a money order by a friendly bank teller as I was thinking, the Manager of the Bank said, “We don’t make cashiers checks for non members.” I was immediately let down and found this to be rude. This bank is in a community of human beings! I guess the Vetra Bank is only interested in money. I obviously was not an exclusive member of this prestigious Bank! And I would never want to be associated with a Snobby High Society Bank like this and I certainly will not forget this experience at this bank!

For our business needs (a growing real estate firm), I shopped 5 banks in the area interviewing loan officers and bank management about 4 months ago. In the end, we selected Vectra Bank for a few reasons including: flexibility in working with our unique loan needs, EXCELLENT RATES, generally at or below other bank fees and mainly their attitude. Interesting that they were selected in the end because one important factor they lacked were locations where we need a branch in Greeley, Loveland and Ft. Collins. In the final analysis, they won because their package outweighed their lack of locations. I would classify Vectra as a community bank. A place where they know you and are willing to help you. They possess the ability to ramp to larger deals as your needs grow. After 3 months of the relationship—I give them a 5 star— EXCELLENT BANK! They have performed above expectations. Our primary contact has been Jim Siekmeier - Senior Relationship Banker -Longmont branch. He’a a “A” player, you won’t be disappointed! Bruce Rice

The ATM got jammed and ate my debit card yesterday a few minutes after they had closed. I called first thing this morning to get it back. NO DIRECT NUMBER... Call center would not put me in contact directly with them and stated to me that my card had been shredded because I was NOT a member with that bank and I would have to notify my credit card company to have a new card reissued... WHAT IN THE HELL AM I GOING TO USE FOR MY VACATION TOMORROW??? NO FUTURE CUSTOMER HERE!!!

I've been using this bank for about 2 years for some small business checking accounts. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and I've never had any problems with my accounts. They give away fresh cookies in the lobby on Fridays :-)
