- FBfreakingtv BSDec 2, 20232.0I whole-heatedly agree with Mike Johnson on this bank. I took out a HELOC with Vector because their terms were overall about 5% better than other options and the people at this branch were helpful & knowledgeable. That said, once I finally got a copy of the contract I saw that the wording was horrible & ould have left me open to paying fees for 10 years, no matter the account balance or status. To their credit they did work with me on the language. Again, echoing Mike - mind you this is post-Covid 2023 - there is STILL no ability pay the mortgage online EVEN IF I had a Vector checking account. The branch team did give me a "heads up" on the perils of just mailing a check to the central office and advised setting up auto-pay. I'll have to see if that is possible w/o a Vector checking acct. I have great confidence in Naveed though(at branch), so I am hopeful that I can avoid the hiccups described by others by following directions!
