- TSTami SnowdenJun 5, 20251.0If I could give this bank negative numbers I would. RUN from this bank. I was on my mom's bank account as her POA. I went in in 2023 with her death certificate to close her account. I worked with a man who assured me the account was closed. I asked if I needed to sign anything or if I got paperwork and he said "nope, all is closed." Certainly my bad. Then I received a statement that my account has insufficient funds and overdraft added money to the account. I went into the bank again and talked to the same man. He was perplexed and went into the computer and said it was closed and took off the overdraft amount. It happened a third time. I called KeyBank ans they told me I needed to work with the branch. So I called and spoke with the manager, Reza. He apologized profusely and asked me to come back to the bank. I went again and he was not there. Dealt with the SAME teller who again. Was perplexed and removed the funds added to the account for overdraft protection. Crickets for over a year. I received an email this week that the account was seriously delinquent and KeyBank closed my account and now in recovery which is affecting my credit. This bank is the absolute worst and all who work there are inept.
