- TRToni RileyDec 15, 20251.0I needed to open a business bank account with Wells Fargo. I even made sure to call ahead of time and asked what I needed to bring in. They had told me I only need my EIN and proof of registration/proof of good standing. I show up for my appointment on time and everything and I get told that they need proof of address. I wish they had of told me that when I called because I didn’t bring it with me. I left the appointment with no business account. Even when I spoke with the manager all she did was explain why they need it but offered no sort of solution to the issue. Wells Fargo in general is a bad bank but not knowing what to do/ what is required for certain appointments makes it worse.
