- DWDavid WeltschSep 7, 20221.0Do not use Wells Fargo for financial or 401K planning as they will lose your money and will care less. You are better off throwing your money off a bridge. The company I worked for switched 401K's to Wells Fargo back in 2015 and they had terrible options. i was very upset with the CFO for selecting Wells Fargo after all the scandals. The WF accounts either did not make money or lost money, great options WF. After multiple complaints from employees from all the divisions the shifted to Empower. What a relieve. Don't get involved with Wells Fargo for credit cards, home loans, banking or investment opportunities. How many Federal violations have they committed in the last ten years? It is one criminal act after the another. How many CEO's have they gone through?
