I cannot imagine how a financial advising company could do much more to undermine your trust in their company. My wife and I have worked with an agent for a couple years. We were quite satisfied. Then a couple months ago, our agent disappears. The company does not reach out to us with any explanation, just gone. We were not notified in any way. We tried calling him and were told he was no longer with Centennial State. No explanation, just gone. The person who has access to all of our financial records, disappears without explanation. We contacted the manager of the office and ask for an explanation. The manager never returned our call. Then after a couple months we get a letter from Centennial State. A young man is introducing himself to us as our new agent. I am looking through the CV that he sent us. Right there on his CV is “2007 2nd best guitar hero (sic) player in Denver” Really? Wow, do we ever feel that being a gamer helps qualify you to manage our finances. I think we will be looking for another firm.
