- FMFawn McCourtSep 6, 20171.0My family gifted me shares through Kyle and I know very little about how trades work. Instead of informing me that I could borrow money against the shares that I wouldn't have to pay back (except the interest) he basically informed me my only option was to keep them or sell them. He tricked me. He knew I knew very little about how everything worked and even after 4-5 telephone calls he failed to mention I had the option of a margin loan. Instead he, as my FINANCIAL ADVISOR, assisted me in selling these shares. My family put those shares there to help me as I was struggling. Why instead he advised that if I needed the money I'd have to sell my shares INSTEAD of the margin loan was an absolute FAIL on his part. I would NOT recommend using Kyle as he was dishonest and withheld information that should absolutely shared with me, the client. He's made excuse after excuse but I see NO excuse why the margin loan wasn't discussed. He made decisions FOR me instead of giving me options.
