- SMShakir MuhammadJun 7, 20251.0I used to "enjoy" banking at the area Wells Fargo branches. The workers are doing their best. I have no complaints once I'm actually able to be helped. Sometimes it's after 20 minutes. With price cuts everything is to a bare minimum. The drive through at this location is now blocked by the employee's cars. The teller windows that face the once-upon-a-time drive thrus are now plastered over with signs to use the mobile app. Inside the building there are not enough tellers/bankers to assist customers. And the remodel leaves the place looking like a sterile laboratory environment. Sure, I mainly use the app now and my employer for years now has paid employees using direct deposit. So I understand why in-person amenities have been slashed. It's just different.. sterile and cold. Oh yeah! And I didn't get much help on a Zelle fraud that came through on my friends phone. Sure I sent money to an account that my "friend" told me to. But after telling WF phone help (and later receiving a letter in the mail) they said there was nothing that they would do about stopping the fraud. Someone's account is being used to steal money from people. And the bank didn't care to intervene. Just point the finger and say.. not our fault or our problem. It's your fault and your 💸 .
